- Vincenzo D'Andrea - leader of this research unit. He is an Assistant Professor at the School of Sociology of the University of Trento. He is a member of the Department of Information and Communication Technology. His interests spans both technological and organizational issues.
- Sara Degli Esposti - currently enrolled in the School of Sociology. Sara prepared a survey on self-help communities.
- Gianni Jacucci - full Professor at the School of Sociology of the University of Trento. He is a member of the Department of Sociology and social research. His interests are in design methodologies for end-user configurablity of information system.
- Massimo Fedrighi - currently enrolled in the School of Sociology. Massimo studied the communities of open-source software developers.
- Francesca Menegon - graduated from the School of Sociology in 2002. She is currently enrolled in the Laurea Specialistica on "Work, Oganization and Information Systems". Francesca worked on on-line communities for Self-Help.
- Gianluca Miscione - PhD candidate in the International PhD Progam on Information Systems & organizations. Gianluca studied the role of Semantic Web for virtual communities of practice.
- Nicola Signorini - graduated from the School of Sociology in December 2002. He worked on the community aspects of Hacklabs.
- Andrea Silli - PhD candidate in the International PhD Progam on Information Systems & organizations. Andrea studied a virtual community in the context of public administration.
