Research
  • Scientific Interests: Lorenzino Vaccari is interested in Distributed information systems and Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI). SDI major challenge is to sustain the interoperability among different data and services, and geographic information application providers. Semantic heterogeneity between distributed and interoperable systems is the main challenge in this research area. His main research activities include the design and the development of a general framework to support the discovery and the coordination of distributed geographic services and data.
