I am currently a member of faculty in the Information Engineering and Computer
Science Department (DISI), at the University
of
Trento. I am co-director of dbTrento,
the
Databases
and Information Management Group of DISI. Before joining the University of Trento, I worked at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center,
and at the University of California at
Riverside. I have also visited Microsoft Research, and the
IBM Almaden Research Center. I am a founding member of the Event
Processing
Technical
Society, and have been a member of
the IBM Academy of Technology
Study on Event Processing. I serve on the
editorial boards and program committees of several international
journals and conferences in the areas of data management and data
mining. I received my BSc degree from the National Technical
University of Athens, Greece, and then received
a MSc and a PhD degree from the University
of
Toronto, Canada. Trivium: my Erdos Number is 2.
