• October 1994 - January 1995: project on Electronic Libraries (funded by: Univerity of Trento).

• January 1996 - present: participation in the three-year project Mente, linguaggio, comprensione - Mind, Language and Understanding (funded by: CNR, Italian National Council of Research).

• January 1997 - June 1998: participation in the project on Il Ruolo del Contesto nello Sviluppo di Sistemi Informatici Avanzati - The role of context in the development of advanced computer systems'' (funded by: Dept. of Computer and Management Sciences, University of Trento).

• January 1997 - January 1998: participation in the project on Sistemi Autonomi Ragionanti e Intelligenti (SARI) (funded by: CNR, Italian National Council of Research).

• January 1998 - June 1999: participation in the project on Architetture Multi-Agente per il turismo - Multi-Agent Architectures for tourism (funded by: Dept. of computer Science and Management, University of Trento).

• March 1999 - March 2000: scientific referent of the sub-project Intelligent Agents within the project on Analysing Professional Communities as Distributed Intelligence Systems (Wisdom and Intelligence Laboratory, Center for Studies on Technologies in Distributed Intelligence Systems (TEDIS), Venice International University, Italy).

• January 2000 - present: participation in the project on MultiAgent Systems for Modeling Consensus Dynamics (funded by: Dept. of Computer and Management Sciences, University of Trento).

• 2001-present: coordinator for the University of Trento of the project Enabling Distributed and Autonomous Management of Knowledge (EDAMOK) (1,8 million Euros in 3 years).

• January 2002 - present: coordinator of the research program on Knowledge Management & Distributed Information Systems at the Department of Information and Communication Technologies of the University of Trento.
